For those trying to make a decision about sending a loved one to Teen Challenge, voluntarily entering the program, or entering under court order, I'd like to hear from those who have been in the program.
Folks should first recognize that every Teen Challenge center is managed by its own director and they make the decisions on how it is run. Your experiences at a particular Teen Challenge center do not necessarily imply that common experiences will be had at another center.
I'd like to hear from both successful and unsuccessful clients and their immediate families.
I want to provide both sides of the story, and let the reader make his/her own informed decision.
This blog is NOT OPEN to name-calling or attacks on other participants. Offensive, Rude, Sarcastic, Mocking or Nonsensical comments will also be deleted at the moderator's discretion.

Also, recognize that though the name implies an age group, it was derived from the origianl emphasis of the organization in reaching troubled teens.
Teen Challenge centers work with various age ranges, male and female. Each center focuses on a particular age range and gender generally.
When I find testimonials, for or against, on the web, I'll request the individual to post here or provide a link to their website.
Teen Challenge is very open about the fact that they are a Christian organization.
Their home page has the slogan "A Faith-Based Solution For the Drug Epidemic"

Next, there is a link on the website called "Prayer Center".
If this isn't your fortay, then you shouldn't go there and complain about the way they conduct business.
Finally, the first thing they ask a candidate that enters the facility is "Are you ready to change?" IF you aren't then you'll get nothing out of it.
